Remote check-ins

Dental exam

In-person and remote check-ins

How it startsAn impression kit or a scan records the teeth. Check whether a dentist examines you in person.

Free e-consultation, then a £69 SmileBox for home impressions, then the £1,790 StraightBox after you see the plan.

Online screening, then an in-person examination at one of 23 partner locations listed on its website.

Check-ins and monitoring

Remote photo screening and monthly photos in the app. The public pages do not explain where a physical examination takes place.

In person before aligners are prescribed. Later check-ins can be remote.

Who plans and supervises

Unnamed dentist for the first photos, then an assigned dentist or orthodontist who plans and monitors treatment. No GDC number is published.

The examining dentist at the partner practice is responsible for your clinical care.

Further aligners may be offered if the dentist considers them clinically appropriate and the package terms are met.

Reviewed but not available to compare

  • Diamond Whites Impress acquired Diamond Whites, and new cases are now quoted at an Impress clinic.
  • NewSmile Its aligners could not be ordered online when we checked on 27 October 2026: the order button led to a missing page, and the shop listed no aligners.

Who is included. A provider can be compared when we have a current review, new patients can start with it in the UK, and we could confirm how treatment starts and how progress is checked. A missing price never rules a provider out: practice-set fees are shown as practice fees or as a quote. Being listed is not a recommendation.

Providers that have closed, changed or could not be confirmed are listed under Looking for another provider? on the reviews page. Prices and terms change, so confirm them with the provider before you pay.
